Game Play/Rules

The game starts with a group of people around a table. The dealer passes out the cards one at a time to the players until a 2 is found. Once the 2 is found that player drinks and says the number 2 out loud.

The cards are then passed back in, except the 2 which is kept in front of that player. Then, the cards are passed out again until a 3 is found. Once the 3 is found, the player with the 2 drinks while calling out his or her number and then the player with the 3 drinks while caller out his or her number.

This is done all the way up to the ace with each player drinking and calling out their numbers each time a new number/player is added.

Once you get to the Ace, you then deal until another Ace is found. Once the Ace is dealt, the two players with the Ace's now become drinking buddies and toast each other when the ace is dealt and drink twice.

The next card to be found is the king, then Queen and so on, all the way down to the two. This way everyone has a drinking buddy! So by the end of the game each player drinks when their number is called. 1,2,3,4, etc. all the way up and all the way down. Each time toasting with their drinking buddy when they get one!

Exceptions to the rule: The beginning of the game can be slow if you do not get cards right away. So once you get three cards, the fourth can be passed to a player that does not yet have three. Thus, keeping the game moving and hopefully preventing death.

Toasting to the Queen we honor the Brits and say, "To the Queen" each time once a buddy is found.
